According to preliminary data, 49.4 percent of citizens eligible to vote participated in the parliamentary elections in Armenia; 1 million 281 thousand 174 voters took part in the voting. This was stated by Central Electoral Commission Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan at the CEC information center.
It should be noted that in the December 2018 snap elections of the National Assembly, 48.63 percent of voters (1 million 260 thousand 840 voters) participated.
In Yerevan, 51.55% of voters participated in the elections (442,846 voters), in Armenia’s second city Gyumri — 38.42% (46,912), and in the third city Vanadzor — 47.55% (44,554).
In the 2018 snap elections of the National Assembly, 47.6 percent of voters (404,599) voted in Yerevan, 39.22 percent (48,817) in Armenia’s second city Gyumri, and 46.66 percent (44,949) in Vanadzor.
