The constitutional referendum scheduled for April 5 is to be postponed. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this announcement at a special session of the National Assembly, in response to a question from Arusyak Julhakyan, a deputy of the “My Step” faction.
The Prime Minister noted that a referendum cannot be held under conditions of martial law. He said that the referendum will take place no earlier than 50 days and no later than 60 days after the end of martial law.
This means that the referendum will take place during the period extending from June 24 to July 4.
