Ararat Melkumyan Appointed Secretary of Artsakh Security Council, Replacing Vitaly Balasanyan

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, signed a series of decrees on 7 January, according to the president’s office. According to the decrees: Vitaly Balasanyan has been relieved of his post as Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council. Ararat Melkumyan has been appointed Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council. By another decree of the head of state on the same day, Major General Ararat Melkumyan was relieved of his post as First Deputy Director of the Artsakh National Security Service.

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, signed a series of decrees on 7 January, according to the president’s office.

According to the decrees:

Vitaly Balasanyan has been relieved of his post as Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council. Ararat Melkumyan has been appointed Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council.

By another decree of the head of state on the same day, Major General Ararat Melkumyan was relieved of his post as First Deputy Director of the Artsakh National Security Service.
