Armenia Has Sent Azerbaijan a Draft Regulation for Border Demarcation Work: Pashinyan

Our version of the peace treaty has been sent to Azerbaijan, but we do not yet have a response, because when we also receive such a document, formulating a response to it takes some time. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this from the parliament podium during a question-and-answer session with the government.

“During this period, three rounds of work on the peace treaty have taken place; they made a proposal, to which we responded, and so three times. We must continue the work in that direction. Apart from face-to-face meetings, documentary work is also being carried out. Recently, we sent the Azerbaijani side a draft regulation for the work of the border demarcation commissions and we are awaiting its response,” the Prime Minister said.

Pashinyan noted that the proposals previously made by Armenia regarding the opening of communications and border security remain in force.
