Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has expressed readiness to host the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Armenia in the autumn. According to Armenpress, Pashinyan said this during the videoconference of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council held on 10 April.
“Armenia is ready to host the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Council this autumn. We hope that by then the pandemic will already be overcome,” said Pashinyan.
The meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which was to be hosted by Minsk, is being held via videoconference because of the spread of the “Corona” virus pandemic around the world. The number of confirmed cases of the “Corona” virus worldwide has exceeded 1 million 608 thousand. 358 thousand 15 people have recovered from the pandemic, and 95 thousand 837 have died.
