Ahead of the start of the “Combat Commonwealth-2019” exercise, training is underway at the “Ashuluk” range of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Servicemen of the participating states have already received the equipment and are conducting intensive drills to identify possible difficulties and eliminate certain malfunctions and inaccuracies. The air defense forces unit of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia has considerable experience in this regard and responds to identified problems quickly and skillfully.
Consultations and discussions are being held with the participation of the command staff of the involved units to clarify the concept of the joint exercise, the actions of the units, and other issues. Agreements have been reached regarding the assigned tasks and the types of conditional targets.
State-of-the-art air defense and aviation assets are involved in the “Combat Commonwealth-2019” exercise. The official opening ceremony of the exercise will take place on 2 September.
