During the past week, the currencies of most former Soviet Union countries depreciated against the US dollar, with only four countries’ currencies appreciating.
The currencies that strengthened their positions against the dollar were the dram (+0.09%), the Ukrainian hryvnia (+1.36%), the Moldovan leu (+0.68%) and the Belarusian ruble (+0.29%).
Among the depreciated currencies, the Georgian lari led at (-1.11%), followed by the Uzbek som (-0.46%), the Russian ruble (-0.27%), the Kyrgyz som (-0.13%), the Kazakh tenge (-0.06%) and the Tajik somoni (-0.001%).
The dollar recorded a 0.4% increase on the world market.
