By the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Arsen Torosyan will henceforth continue his tenure in the capacity of head of the prime minister’s staff, leaving the post of minister of health.
“Taking this opportunity, I want to express special gratitude to all the employees of the Ministry of Health and its subordinate institutions for their personal and professional dedication. Without you, it would not have been possible to carry out the changes in the health sector over the past nearly three years, which will surely continue with broad momentum. Thanks to you, over the past year the health system waged an effective fight against the pandemic, providing quality and timely medical care to our tens of thousands of citizens, as well as operatively organising medical care for servicemen wounded during the military operations. I ask you to continue working with the same dedication and diligence. I also want to express gratitude to the more than 40,000 employees of the health system, who day and night fulfil their professional duty, especially in such a difficult period for our country and the health system. I am confident that, thanks to you as well, our country will overcome all present and future challenges,” — Arsen Torosyan noted this on his Facebook page.
Arsen Torosyan wished success to the newly appointed minister of health Anahit Avanesyan and expressed his readiness to support her to the extent of his abilities.
