The entire territory of Artsakh was left without electricity on 25 February. This was stated by Vahram Poghosyan, head of the information department of the Artsakh president’s staff, who said that electricity was cut off between 16:00 and 17:00 and remains cut off to this day.
“‘ArtsakhEnergo’ CJSC has reported that an accident occurred at the station supplying Artsakh and repair and restoration work is underway,” Poghosyan noted.
‘ArtsakhEnergo’ CJSC has not given a timeframe for when electricity will be restored. According to Metaksye Hagopyan, in all likelihood, the power will remain off during the night as well. According to her, it is cold in Artsakh, around -7 to -10 °C.
