Azerbaijani armed forces units initiated another provocation on November 16 at around 13:00 in the direction of Armenia’s eastern border, subjecting Armenian positions to shelling.
This was reported by Armenia’s Ministry of Defense, noting that Armenian armed forces units resorted to retaliatory actions to prevent the enemy’s advance.
The exchange of fire began after the Azerbaijani side demanded that the Armenian armed forces abandon two combat outposts at Tsitsernakar located on Armenian territory, but our soldiers refused to comply with that demand.
