The British company «HALO Trust», which was engaged in charitable work in Artsakh, has handed over to the Turkish special services the map of the mined areas in Artsakh, which made it possible to successfully overcome the defensive mined areas of the Artsakh Defense Army during the 44-day war. «From reliable sources I have learned that the “HALO Trust” company, which worked under the name of a British charitable organization and was engaged in mine clearance operations, during its time working in Artsakh obtained the maps of the mined areas of the Armenian side and handed them over to the Turkish special services. Because of this, during the war the enemy was able to successfully cross the mined areas. Under the guise of studying dangerous areas, this company carried out reconnaissance operations throughout the territory of Artsakh.
This organization was founded by a member of the British Parliament and former colonel of the British army, Colin Campbell Mitchell, in 1988», said Avagyan.
