The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia has addressed the global economic developments caused by the “corona” virus. In a statement by the Central Bank of the RA, it was noted.

“The Central Bank of the RA is closely following the global economic developments caused by the “corona” virus. According to current assessments, it is expected that these effects, both on the global economy and on the RA economy, will be short-term. Nevertheless, the Central Bank is paying attention to developments in the global economy, foreign trade and commodity markets, and is assessing the short-term effects that may be recorded on the RA economy. In case of necessity, the Central Bank is always ready to respond, ensuring price and foreign trade stability in the Republic of Armenia.”
