A civilian has been killed by sniper fire from Azerbaijani armed forces in Artsakh. This was announced by Hunan Tadevosyan, spokesperson for the State Service of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh.
“According to preliminary information, today, 9 October, at 13:15, the Martakert district police department reported that Aram Depnants, born in 1966 in the city of Martakert, received fatal injuries from sniper fire by Azerbaijani armed forces in a pomegranate orchard adjacent to the city of Martakert,” he said.
Investigators are currently working at the scene of the incident. The information has been conveyed to the Russian peacekeepers.
