An extraordinary session initiated by pro-government deputies has begun in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. The session’s agenda includes one item.
The deputies are to discuss the draft law on making amendments and additions to the constitutional law “Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia.” The co-authors of the draft are Arman Babajanyan, Sergey Bagratyan, Vahagn Hovakimyan and Hamazasp Danielyan.
The amendments to the Electoral Code are being made ahead of the early parliamentary elections. Elections in Armenia are scheduled for 20 June.
