France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna will visit Armenia, the French Foreign Ministry has announced.
The head of France’s foreign policy department will make a regional visit: from April 26-28, Catherine Colonna will be in Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia.
In Armenia, the French Foreign Minister will meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan. Colonna will also visit the EU monitoring mission’s headquarters in the city of Jermuk.
The statement noted that the visit will reaffirm France’s commitment to supporting negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan for the sake of a just and lasting peace.
