Political parties are to receive financial support from the state budget.
At the expense of taxpayers, those political forces that received 3 percent or more of the vote in the 2018 National Assembly elections will continue their party activities.
Thus, the ruling “My Step” alliance is to receive 78 million drams from the state, the RPA 5.2 million drams, the PAP 9.1 million drams, the LHK 7 million drams, and the ARF 4.3 million drams. The total amount comes to 103.7 million drams.
The provision of financial support to political forces from state funds is enshrined in the constitutional law “On Parties.”
