On November 8 and the night of November 9, Defense Army units conducted defensive battles on the southeastern, southern and southwestern directions of the front line. Heavy fighting took place in the Shushi-Karin Tak section against detected enemy groupings, as a result of which the enemy, having lost a large number of forces, retreated.
Our troops occupied more favorable positions. During the mentioned period, 1 tank, 4 units of military vehicles and 8 unmanned aerial vehicles belonging to the enemy forces were destroyed in various directions of the front line. Thanks to the operations underway in the southwestern section, army units also captured 1 enemy tank and artillery means. Throughout the entire conduct of military operations, the adversary continued to deliver air and missile-artillery strikes against the peaceful settlements of the Republic of Artsakh. In the morning, the enemy forces’ attempts to attack resumed on all main directions of the front line.
The tactical situation remains under the control of the Defense Army units.
