In the command post of the Defense Army, at midnight yesterday, one of our legendary commanders, Karen Jalavyan, was awarded the highest title of “Hero of Artsakh.” The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“I said this with a special ceremony, sending a message via radio to our soldiers located in different sections of the front.
I made that decision, taking into account the feats demonstrated by him personally and the units he leads, and the important contribution made to the cause of the defense of the Homeland.
