Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Motherhood and Beauty Day, in which it is said:
«Dear mothers, daughters, sisters,
Dear women,
I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the occasion of Motherhood and Beauty Day.
For two years now, we have been celebrating this holiday in a difficult period: first the pandemic, then also the war unleashed against Artsakh kept us all in anxiety and pain. In this difficult period, with your strength and power, you have been able to encourage your families, your loved ones, each other, and remain strong yourselves, bearing on your shoulders the heavy burden of the problems and difficulties that have arisen — at home, on the battlefield, in medical institutions, in educational institutions, in any work or public sphere where you carry out your activities.
Dear mothers,
I bow before you for the upbringing and education that you give to your children — the worthy citizens of our country. I address words of special reverence to the mothers, wives, sisters and daughters of our brothers who fell martyred in the Artsakh wars.
I understand that nothing can console you, but I am also confident that it is a strong, flourishing, self-confident and developing homeland that will become a balm for your wounds.
I address words of consolation to the mothers, wives, daughters and sisters of our captive compatriots: we have done and are doing everything possible to return our brothers to the homeland. I recall with pain that among our captive compatriots there is still a woman, and may my pain become strength and courage for her and for all our captive compatriots, to overcome this trial together.
Dear women,
I am convinced that together, shoulder to shoulder, we will be able to put our country back on its feet, working for the sake of a developing, prospering and forward-looking Armenia and Artsakh.
I am confident that no difficulty can depress you. Our spirit to see the homeland prosperous and well-off, free and happy will never surrender»:
