By a decision of the “My Step” faction, a draft decision has been put into circulation in the National Assembly to terminate the powers of deputy Naira Zohrapyan as chair of the Standing Committee on the Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs.
The faction bases its submission of such a draft on the impossibility of Zohrapyan continuing to serve in that post.
Why Zohrapyan’s tenure is impossible is explained in several points.
The first point states that on 17 December of this year, Naira Zohrapyan made a post on her Facebook page, which included the following passage: “I hate you, jekh, who brought to power one like yourself, who is slowly closing the page of our statehood.”
The second point of the justification states that on 22 December, Naira Zohrapyan also wrote on the same page: “The number one problem of our country is ignorance. After the end of Nikol and Nikolism, if you like, yes, we will also educate by force that segment of society, so that it no longer goes to any election and does not bring its mirror reflection to power. I will not give the homeland to the jekh. Now I will be in Republic Square to save my homeland from Nikol and the jekh. The jekh will no longer decide anything in my country. And if necessary, yes, until a certain educational census is reached, the jekh must be deprived of the right to make any kind of decision and, first of all, to vote. And taken by force to be educated. This is no longer a serious issue of national security. This is now a war of species, a war of the people and the jekh. Whichever species wins, we will have that kind of state. We will not have jekhocracy. Be assured.”
The above makes it obvious that deputy Naira Zohrapyan cannot be the chair of a committee whose core activity is the protection of human rights,” is stated in the justification of the draft.
