I want to apologize for the mistakes made. Armenia’s Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan made this statement while speaking about the mistakes made during the fight against the “Corona” virus.
According to Arsen Torosyan, the “Corona” viral disease is new, has never existed in the world, and there are still unanswered questions related to it, which has prompted authorities in different countries to take different steps, actions, and learn lessons from it.
“These uncertainties are the reason that perhaps we delayed at some point, made the decision a few days late. I apologize and want to say that perhaps we delayed when making different decisions in different situations. This situation prompts us to look back and evaluate the steps taken. I am grateful to the critics when they point out the shortcomings of our actions. They allow us to correct and move forward with precise steps,” Torosyan stated during the live broadcast.
He also recalled his previous statement about not wearing masks and noted that the past 4 months of quarantine and the fight against the disease have made it clear that that statement was wrong, and now wearing masks in public places reduces the spread of infection.
