Parliamentary snap elections will be held on 20 June. The elections are about the people needing to make a decision regarding the past and the future. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on 28 March during a meeting with residents in the Aragats community of Armavir Province.
“You must assess the past and make a decision regarding the future. You must assess the past and make a decision regarding the future. Yes, I will resign in April. Not to resign and leave, but so that snap elections take place, continuing in the meantime to carry out the duties of prime minister.
If you reaffirm your mandate, I and our team will continue to serve you much better than before. If you do not confirm it, we will humbly hand over power to whomever you choose.”
