Italian Town of San Vito dei Normanni Recognizes Artsakh’s Independence

The Italian town of San Vito dei Normanni has unanimously adopted a resolution recognizing the independence of Artsakh. The Armenian Embassy in Italy reports this. “We thank the members of the municipal council of the Italian town of San Vito dei Normanni for unanimously adopting the resolution on the recognition of Artsakh presented by council member Vincenzo Calabretti. In the resolution, the municipal council expressed solidarity with the people of the Republic of Artsakh, condemned the hostile Azerbaijani attitude, and urged the Italian authorities to recognize the Republic of Artsakh,” reads the statement issued by the embassy.
