Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan has announced that a health worker has died as a result of the coronavirus in Armenia. Torosyan made this statement during a press conference held on 23 June.
“We already have one victim from the medical staff, and for this reason we emphasize that the protection of medical personnel is very important,” said Torosyan.
According to him, 4,000 health workers are fighting against the infection.
“The painful fact of a health worker’s death from the coronavirus once again demonstrates the importance of maintaining their safety,” he noted.
