The “My Step” faction is opposed to making a full transition to a proportional system in the Electoral Code and to holding snap elections under a proportional electoral system. The head of the “My Step” faction, Lilit Makunts, said this today during a briefing.
“Discussions are currently underway. The package of changes to the Electoral Code has been quite inclusive, so we are continuing discussions with those who participated in the talks,” she noted, adding that the changes should first and foremost bring simplifications so that no problems arise.
As for their group’s participation, Lilit Makunts believes that the question of heading the list is obvious — it will be Nikol Pashinyan — while it is still too early to speak about the other candidates.
