Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Armenia recorded tourist activity during the summer.
According to the Tourism Committee, 313,396 tourists visited Armenia in the summer, while in January-August that number reached 488,558.
Among the tourists who came to our country, those arriving from Russia predominated, followed by those from Iran and Georgia.
There were also visits from Ukraine, India and other countries.
Tourist visits during the summer were most active in August.
In June, the number of visitors to Armenia from abroad was 64,101, in July 106,127, and in August 143,168.
