The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia’s General Department for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases continues to undertake urgent investigative and other procedural, field-intelligence measures to clarify the circumstances of the death of former NSS Director Georgi Kudoyan. Armenpress was told this in response to an inquiry by the head of the Investigative Committee’s Department of Information and Public Relations, Naira Harutyunyan.
“No traces of violence were found on Kudoyan’s body. Forensic, trace, ballistic and biological examinations have been ordered to clarify a number of circumstances of essential importance to the investigation. The Committee will issue an official statement regarding data obtained during the investigation that are subject to publication,” she said.
