In Armenia, as of 11:00 on 16 June, a total of 17,489 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 6,571 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
At this moment, 10,529 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 85,556 tests have been conducted. Thus, we have 425 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 295 recoveries.
Eight new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths has reached 293).
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia has reported that the deceased patients were men aged 82, 63, 88 and women aged 81, 65, 72, 70, 86. All had accompanying chronic diseases.
Two more deaths have been recorded in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but the cause of death was another disease. The total number of such cases is 96.
