As of 11:00 a.m. on 14 August, a total of 41,299 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 34,164 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 6,082 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 181,962 tests have been conducted.
Thus, we have 276 newly confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 267 recoveries.
Five new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 814).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 83, 82, and 78, and women aged 69 and 70. All had underlying chronic diseases.
One additional case was recorded in which patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death resulted from another illness. The total number of such cases is 239.
