Number of Tourists Visiting Artsakh Up 46.7%

During January-December 2019, 41,963 foreign tourists visited the Republic of Artsakh, compared to 28,588 the previous year, registering a 46.7% increase. This was stated by Minister of Youth Affairs and Tourism Lernik Hovhannisyan during a press conference at the ministry. Presenting the number of tourists by country, the minister noted that 19,160 citizens arrived in Artsakh from the Russian Federation, 7,527 from the USA, 1,661 from France, 765 from Germany, 699 from Lebanon, 685 from Poland, 671 from China, 594 from Argentina, 575 from Canada, and 568 from Syria.
