Only Bright Armenia Has Responded to the President’s Invitation, Accepting It

President Armen Sarkissian had invited the Prime Minister, the heads of parliamentary factions, and the leaders of the Homeland Salvation Movement to a meeting on 13 March at 12:00, with the aim of discussing the situation in the country and finding mutually acceptable solutions to overcome the crisis. President Armen Sarkissian had invited the Prime Minister, the heads of parliamentary factions, and the leaders of the Homeland Salvation Movement to a meeting on 13 March at 12:00, with the aim of discussing the situation in the country and finding mutually acceptable solutions to overcome the crisis.

NEWS.am tried to find out whether the political forces and the Prime Minister have accepted the President’s invitation.

The Prime Minister’s press secretary Mane Gevorgyan said that she would not yet comment on that matter.

Arman Abovyan, secretary of the Prosperous Armenia faction, noted that the faction had not yet discussed the matter.

The Bright Armenia faction has accepted the President’s invitation.

“On behalf of the Bright Armenia party and the Bright Armenia faction of the National Assembly, I declare that we accept the invitation and are ready to participate in any discussion where it will be possible to restore civil solidarity and find ways to lead the country out of the deep crisis,” Marukyan wrote on his Facebook page.
