Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan made the following post on his Facebook page:
“However obvious it is that the priorities of our agenda are linked to external challenges, I must nevertheless record that this quality of the local government elections, when the citizen is Master and Decider, is our long-cherished dream, fulfilled:
I know and understand the viewpoint that it would be better if the elections were falsified, but we would have a higher level of security, but my conviction has been, is and will be that it is precisely the long-standing practice of falsifying elections that eroded the system of state resilience being formed in the early 90s and, through chain reactions, led to security disasters:
Statehood and state institutions — this must be the guarantee of our Future.”
