In Armenia, the pre-election campaign for the snap parliamentary elections will start on June 7 and will last until June 18, at 24:00. The corresponding decision was adopted at the May 11 session of the Central Electoral Commission.
The draft on approving the timetable of the main measures for the preparation and holding of the snap elections of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on June 20, 2021 was presented by the Chairman of the CEC, Tigran Mukuchyan.
“The pre-election campaign period will start from June 7, 2021 until June 18 at 24:00. The deadline for submitting applications for self-withdrawal of candidates, parties or parties that are members of an alliance is until June 10 at 18:00,” said Mukuchyan.
The formation of electoral precincts will take place until May 26, 2021; parties and party alliances must submit documents for registration to the CEC no later than 25 days before election day, until 18:00, that is, May 26, 2021, until 18:00.
A deadline is set for the registration of electoral lists of parties and party alliances from May 26 to May 30, 2021. The voter lists will be posted in a place visible to all at precinct centers on May 31.
