On Yerevan’s Republic Square, near the trees guarded by the Honor Guard, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was presented with the project for the life park to be established in Yerevan’s Botanical Garden and the works planned for the near future.
In the park, which will cover an area of 25-30 hectares, trees symbolizing the vitality and presence of all the victims of the Artsakh wars will be planted, while the tree of life will symbolize all our martyrs and the lives they gave to the homeland.
In his message dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, the Prime Minister had noted that in the Botanical Garden there will be a life park, where children will run, make noise, and play, young people will have recreation, and adults will stroll and converse. “And that park will be in memory of those who sacrificed their lives for Armenia and Artsakh to live. And the living of Armenia, the living of Artsakh, the peaceful and developing Armenian statehood will become the victory that they forged.
Here, in the heart of this luminous square, those trees, draped with Armenian flags and guarded by the Honor Guard, will be moved to the Botanical Garden, symbolizing the start of a new era in the history of the Republic of Armenia, the start of an era of peaceful development,” Nikol Pashinyan had noted.
