Today, at approximately 05:30 in the morning, Azerbaijani military personnel launched an offensive infiltration attempt in the direction of one of the combat positions located in the north-eastern direction of the Republic of Armenia. This was reported by the RA Ministry of Defence’s Department of Information and Public Affairs.

Thanks to the skilful actions of the position-holding personnel, the enemy, having suffered losses, was pushed back to its position, leaving behind ammunition and a mine detector. The Armenian side has no losses; as a result of the operations, one serviceman was slightly wounded, and the details of the incident are being clarified.

An analysis of the operations shows that for this infiltration, which was carried out by personnel who had undergone appropriate training, the enemy had carried out serious preparatory work. It is noteworthy that a German-made mine detector was used to open passages through the minefields.
