Compared to the beginning of the year, the Republic of Armenia’s state debt has decreased by 363 billion drams (approximately 900 million dollars) or 8.2%. This was written on his Facebook page by Kevork Papoyan, the chairman of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.
“The government’s debt has decreased by 366 billion drams or -8.7%. The government’s external debt has decreased by 585 billion drams or -19.7%. The government’s internal debt has increased by 219 billion drams or 17.7%. The average interest rate on the debt has increased by 1%, becoming 5.68%. Of our debt, 25.4% is internal debt and 74.6% is external debt,” he wrote.
