The Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia has issued a statement announcing that all work carried out for the preparation and holding of the constitutional amendments referendum will be suspended by all participants in the process. “Based on the decision No. 298-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated 16.03.2020 ‘On declaring a state of emergency in the Republic of Armenia’, and guided by Article 208 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and Part 1 of Article 6 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Armenia ‘On the Referendum’, the Central Electoral Commission informs that all work, processes and measures carried out for the preparation and holding of the referendum on amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia will be suspended by all participants in the process”:
