The court handling cases of illicit asset confiscation has placed a seizure on the property of a number of former high-ranking officials and their associates, granting the prosecutor’s office’s motion, the prosecutor’s office has reported.
The Prosecutor General’s Office examined the legality of property acquired by former Minister of Defense, member of the “Armenia” faction Seyran Ohanyan, his wife Ruzanna Khachatryan, an individual connected to him, Jacques Fauvois, former head of Serzh Sargsyan’s bodyguard unit Vachagan Ghazaryan, his wife, daughter, and son, and filed a motion to place a seizure on their property, which was granted.
