Today, on 28 September, at the invitation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, a government delegation headed by Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is to arrive in Armenia on an official visit.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting of the prime ministers of the two countries is to take place, after which they will make statements summarising the results of the negotiations for media representatives.
Meetings of Singapore’s Prime Minister are also planned with President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, and President of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan.
Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is to visit the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex to pay tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
Singapore’s Prime Minister is also to participate on 1 October in Yerevan in a session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in an expanded format, during which a signing ceremony of an agreement on the creation of a free trade zone between the EAEU and Singapore is planned.
Earlier this year, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made an official visit to Singapore.
