On 3 April, at approximately 00:35, at the guard post of one of the military units deployed in the south-eastern direction of the Defense Army, serviceman Garegin Kamoyi Babakekhyan, born in 2000, received a fatal gunshot wound under still-unclarified circumstances. This was reported by the press service of the Artsakh Ministry of Defense.
An investigation is being conducted to clarify the details of the incident.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh shares the heavy grief of the loss and expresses its support to the family members, relatives and comrades-in-arms of the deceased serviceman.
