Within the framework of inspection checks underway in one of the units operating on the northern direction of the Defense Army, a battalion-level tactical exercise was conducted with one of the separate armored units, the live-fire phase of which was played out on 7 June at the army’s «Tigranakert» training ground. This was reported by the press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense.
During the tactical exercises conducted on an offensive theme, various tactical episodes stemming from the nature of current and probable developments in the military situation were played out, which were observed by the head of the Military Control Service of the RA Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Movses Hakobyan, the NKR Minister of Defense, Commander of the Defense Army, Lieutenant General Jalal Harutyunyan, and senior military officials.
Throughout the entire course of the tactical exercises, the participating personnel demonstrated a high level of preparedness and organization, thanks to which it became possible to implement the relevant decisions and concepts adopted by the commanders, and as a result of ensuring active interoperability with artillery units, receiving appropriate fire support to strike the targets of the conditional enemy, fully accomplish the assigned combat mission and occupy the most advantageous firing lines.
Overall, the units involved in the exercise operated harmoniously and in coordination, and the tactical actions fully corresponded to the real combat missions assigned to the branch of forces and the modern requirements for neutralizing the challenges expected from the probable enemy.
