Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page:
Dear people, proud citizens of the Republic of Armenia, proud citizens of the Republic of Artsakh, proud Armenians of the Diaspora.
The adversary has launched an attack towards Artsakh. The Defense Army is successfully withstanding the attack. The situation is developing operationally, information is being summarised and reported as necessary.
I call on you to trust only official sources and to be cautious not to fall for hostile information flows.
Let us stand firm behind our state, behind our army, at the positions of the defence of our holy homeland. And we will win.
Long live our glorious army. Long live Armenian statehood. Long live the Armenian people.
