Tribute to Immortalized Heroes

On 11 August, a memorial stone was unveiled in the yard of Yerevan’s School No. 100, dedicated to the memory of Major Levon Garegin Sargsyan, deputy commander of the peacekeeping battalion who fell in the 44-day war, and Alexander Ashot Karapetyan, a graduate of the school and conscripted serviceman. Present at the consecration of the memorial stone were the relatives and comrades-in-arms of the boys who fell heroically in the war, as well as officials. A corner of glory was also opened in the school’s military science classroom, dedicated to their memory. Following the event, a tribute was also paid

On 11 August, a memorial stone was unveiled in the yard of Yerevan’s School No. 100, dedicated to the memory of Major Levon Garegin Sargsyan, deputy commander of the peacekeeping battalion who fell in the 44-day war, and Alexander Ashot Karapetyan, a graduate of the school and conscripted serviceman.

Following the event, a tribute was also paid at the Yerablur military pantheon.
