Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
President Putin congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on the successful holding of the elections in Armenia and on the recorded victory.
The interlocutors also touched upon the situation prevailing in the region and the progress of the implementation of the provisions of the trilateral statements of 9 November 2020 and 11 January 2021.
During the telephone conversation, the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia emphasized the primary importance of the return of prisoners of war.
