“I have already had occasion to speak once about Armen Knyazyan, who settled in Spain and achieved tangible success in business life. Months ago we had met, talked, and outlined plans. And days before the war he was in the Homeland.
Artsakh was already awaiting his creative efforts and investments…
I had become acquainted with Armen during the days of the four-day war in 2016.
He used to tell with a smile that he had received the news of the war on his wife’s birthday and, instead of congratulating her, had bought a plane ticket, hurrying to defend the fatherland. This time too Armen behaved the same way. Hours after returning from Artsakh, he was again on the soil of the homeland, with the aim of defending his share of the Homeland. The selfless struggle of the heroic son of Armenia was, sadly, interrupted by the treacherous bullet of the enemy…
Armen, my dear friend, through your struggle, through your example of rightly loving the Homeland, you became a symbol. You are the kind of Armenian who remained faithful to his roots to the end, did not break away, did not wither, and became eternal…
The Homeland knows how to appreciate the feat of its brave sons. Armen Artavazd’s Knyazyan is being awarded the highest title of ‘Hero of Artsakh’.
