The Armenian peacekeepers of the CSTO have departed Kazakhstan for home, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defence reports.
“The personnel of the units of the Republic of Armenia from the CSTO collective peacekeeping forces, who were carrying out the task of protecting vital facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, having completed loading onto military aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces at Almaty airport, are returning home,” the statement said.
It should be recalled that the Armenian peacekeeping unit included 100 Armenian servicemen.
