12 Children and 12 Adults in Intensive Care Units in Artsakh, 5 in Critical Condition

Due to the blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijan, scheduled surgeries continue to be suspended in medical institutions operating under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh. This was reported by the Artsakh Ministry of Health.

“At the ‘Arevik’ medical association, 12 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units.

At the ‘Republican Medical Center,’ 12 patients are in the intensive care unit, 5 of whom are in extremely critical condition. Doctors are doing everything possible to stabilize the patients’ condition.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh is taking all possible measures to properly overcome the situation created by the blockade,” the statement said.
