Due to the blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijan, three patients from the “Republican Medical Center” Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, diagnosed with “Valvular heart disease, severe mitral and aortic valve insufficiency,” “Cardiac arrhythmia, paroxysmal form of atrial fibrillation,” and “Invasive non-specific carcinoma of the left breast, endometriosis, cervical cancer,” had been under the supervision of our physicians for days. This was announced by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
Through the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross, the three patients were transferred today to various specialized medical centers of the Republic of Armenia.
