Two Christian churches were burned in Canada overnight. The fires occurred Sunday night in the province of Ontario. As reported by the CTV television channel, the authorities have not ruled out the possibility of arson.
The fires broke out in churches located 7 km apart, with a six-hour difference between them. As a result of the fires, the churches were completely burned. Local police and authorities consider the outbreak of fires in two churches within a few hours of each other to be suspicious and have not ruled out the possibility of deliberate arson.
The local police’s major crimes investigation unit has been tasked with conducting an investigation jointly with the fire marshal’s office.
