In Armenia, as of 11:00 a.m. on 1 June, a total of 9,402 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 3,402 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 5,896 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 58,668 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 210 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 16 recoveries.
Today, 8 deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 139).
The RA Ministry of Health announced that the deceased patients were men aged 81, 63, 65, 67, 81 and women aged 73, 82, 69. Except for the last one, all the others had accompanying chronic diseases.
An additional 5 deaths were recorded in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but the cause of death was another disease. The total number of such cases is 55.
